What you can expect

Make your day in Bangkok a memorable one by booking this tour where you will not only see some of the best sites and landmark in Bangkok but you will also learn a Thai culture from your Guide. It is a walking tour so please wear comfortable shoes and comfortable clothing. Make sure your shirt is not sleeveless and you will also need a long pants to enter The Grand Palace.

The tour starts by meeting at Navy Wifes Association Shop located just on the outside walls of The famous Grand Palace.

Please note: We did not include entrance fee on this tour as it is more economical to pay upfront. Also on rare occasion if any of the sites are closed then it will not be charged for.

Our first stop is The famous Grand Palace and The Temple of Emerald Buddha. You will see the magnificent structure of The Grand Palace and learn about the history to the Palace. The tour of The Grand Palace extends to its temple, The Temple of Emerald Buddha which is one of the very important and famous Buddha statues in the world. Your guide will give a brief knowledge of Thai belief and the historic timeline of the temple and the Emerald Buddha. We estimate to spend approx. 1 hour at this stop.

Our second stop is the another Royal temple located just next door, The Temple of Reclining Buddha. Though the temple is know by the famous Reclining Buddha but in the temple it lies some of the very important highlights. The temple is also know as the first school of medicine, it is the birthplace of Thai massage. You will see some of the oldest drawn painting of human biology and its pressure points. You will also see the intricate details of the temple and learn the historic timeline of each Stupa. We expect to spend approx. 40 minutes at this stop.

We will then take a local ferry and cross to the other side of the river to our very last stop.

Our last stop is The Temple of Dawn, you will see a beautiful white Stupa of the temple located just on the edge of the Chaopraya River. You will also learn how impossible structurally it was to build in that time but history proves it that it has been built and ever since the Stupa only had cosmetic renovations. The base structure remains the same ever since. This temple also marks an important and birthplace of Bangkok.

This is where our tour ends and from there your guide will best guide you on how to go back to your hotel or if you need any suggestions, our guide will help advise you your next destination.
