Your Itinerary
Early Morning Pickup - Varies between 5am - 9am
Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your Cape Town accommodation. Settle into a comfortable vehicle for a scenic drive through the Overberg region towards Gansbaai, one of the world’s top shark cage diving destinations. Enjoy the sunrise and coastal mountain views along the way.

Arrival, Safety Briefing & Light Breakfast
Upon arrival at the dive base, you’ll be welcomed by the crew with a light breakfast and an important safety and procedure briefing. Learn about shark behaviour, conservation, and what to expect during your cage dive.

Shark Cage Dive in Gansbaai
Board the custom-built shark diving boat and cruise towards the dive site near Dyer Island, known for its Great White Shark activity. Once anchored, you’ll gear up in a wetsuit and hop into the secure surface cage, where you'll witness sharks swimming just metres away. No diving experience is needed, and all gear is provided.

Post-Dive Warm-Up & Refreshments
After your dive, warm up with hot drinks and light snacks on board. Chat with your guides about the experience, review any available underwater footage, and return to shore with stories to tell.

Optional Video Footage & Certificate
Back at base, enjoy free time to view or purchase photos and video clips of your dive. You may also receive an optional dive participation certificate as a keepsake of your wild ocean encounter.

Afternoon Return to Cape Town between 2pm - 4pm
Relax on the drive back to Cape Town, passing scenic farmland and small towns along the way. Arrival is expected in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on sea conditions.
