What you can expect
Travel back in time on a guided walking tour through the mythical and historical heart of Athens. Starting at the grand National Library of Greece, you'll follow a carefully curated path through the city, uncovering the myths that shaped Western civilisation. Marvel at the neoclassical elegance of the Academy of Athens and the secrets behind the Museum of Numismatics, once home to Heinrich Schliemann.
Pass by the Hellenic Parliament and witness the symbolic changing of the guard before entering the peaceful National Gardens. As you stroll through the lush grounds of the Zappeion gardens, your guide will weave tales of gods and mortals—Zeus, Athena, Apollo—whose stories are deeply rooted in these very streets.
Continue towards the majestic Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Arch of Hadrian, learning how mythology and imperial power coexisted. The tour culminates with stunning views of the Acropolis and concludes just outside the Acropolis Museum.
