Our first stop is the Zhinvali Dam. Here, you’ll enjoy a coffee break with a stunning view of the turquoise Zhinvali Reservoir. We’ll take time for pictures of the emerald water and mountain peaks, and there are clean WC facilities available before we continue our climb.
Next, we visit the Ananuri Castle Complex, a 17th-century fortress that once guarded the Aragvi River valley. Explore the ancient stone churches and towers while learning about the dukes who ruled this region. Following the history, we’ll make a unique stop to taste mountain honey—fresh, local varieties produced by bees in the alpine meadows.
The drive continues to the Gudauri Panoramic View (Friendship Monument). Perched on the edge of a “Devil's Valley” cliff, this circular mosaic offers the most dramatic 360-degree photo opportunities in Georgia.
Finally, we arrive at Gudauri Ski Resort, where the rest of the afternoon is yours. Enjoy 2 to 3 hours of free time for your favourite winter activities:
Skiing & Snowboarding: Take the cable cars to the highest peaks (up to 3,300m).
Paragliding: Experience a tandem flight over the snowy canyons.
Lunch: Savour authentic mountain food at a resort restaurant.
