What you can expect

Immerse yourself in the most creative, popular, and gastronomic atmosphere of Montmartre with a guided walk in Spanish through its most emblematic streets. Throughout the visit, you'll learn stories related to cabarets, cinema, music, Parisian cafes, and the neighborhood's wine tradition. The experience ends with a glass of wine and a selection of French cheeses in a historic restaurant.

The meeting point will be Place Blanche, in front of the unmistakable Moulin Rouge. From there, we'll evoke the golden age of the cancan and the evening shows that made this area of Paris synonymous with partying, transgression, and artistic freedom.

The route continues along the lively Rue Lepic to the Café des Deux Moulins, famous for its appearance in the film Amélie. We'll take advantage of this stop to discover the importance of cafés as meeting places and as an essential part of everyday life in Paris.

We'll then visit the Mur des Je t'aime, where the phrase “I love you” is written in numerous languages. Next, we'll venture into the residential streets of the hill and pass by places linked to Dalida, one of the most remembered artists of French music.

Highlights include the Moulin de la Galette, a testament to Montmartre's rural past and its former popular dances. Nearby, we'll see Le Passe-Muraille, the original sculpture inspired by Marcel Aymé's storey.

From Place Dalida, we'll walk along the picturesque Rue de l'Abreuvoir to the Maison Rose, one of the most recognisable and photographed buildings in the area. The tour will continue next to Clos Montmartre, the vineyard that preserves the memory of the hill's wine-making activity and its traditional harvest festival.

We'll also stop at the Lapin Agile, a historic cabaret frequented by artists, writers, and musicians. Its nights of song, humour, and bohemian spirit are part of Montmartre's cultural identity.

The climb will take us to the Sacré-Cœur, where we'll learn the history of one of the most iconic monuments in Paris and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the upper part of the area.

We'll finish at Place du Tertre, the former central square of the village of Montmartre and a current meeting point for painters and visitors. There we'll enter La Mère Catherine, an establishment founded in 1793 and linked to the popular legend about the origin of the word “bistro”. The included food tasting will take place in this historic setting: a glass of wine accompanied by a selection of French cheeses.
