The Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo Marine Protected Area is one of the richest areas in terms of coastal fauna and flora in Sardinia, thanks to the ongoing efforts to preserve its natural beauty over the years. Located off the Gulf of Olbia, it stretches from Capo Ceraso to the San Teodoro area, encompassing the two main islands of Tavolara and Molara, as well as numerous smaller islands and rocks. Departing from Mare e Rocce Beach, in the seaside hamlet of Pittulongu (Olbia), we will visit some of the most beautiful locations within the Park area by inflatable boat, making at least three stops to fully enjoy its crystal-clear waters and breathtaking landscapes. You will be captivated by the cliffs of Capo Ceraso and the intimate, sun-drenched atmosphere of the area's many coves, by the granite sculptures known as the “sassi piatti” in Cala Girgolu, and by the famous “natural pools” of Molara and their vibrant colours. For the final leg, there will also be a longer stop on the island of Tavolara, which is rich in history and charm.
