You can still see in the “darkness lock.” Here you’ll receive your white cane—you’ll need it in a moment.

1. Step by step into the dark

With every step, more light fades away until you’re standing in complete darkness. Here, your guide welcomes you and takes the lead.

1. A new world opens up

Sight no longer matters. Hearing, touch, and smell take over. Together with your guide, your journey begins.

1. Experience Room 1 – What Do You Perceive?

A familiar soundscape surrounds you. Where are you? Listen more closely, feel the floor, and pay attention to smells. Suddenly, things you’d normally hardly notice become important.

1. Experience Room 2 – Discovering with Your Hands

Now your sense of touch takes centre stage. Feel your way along the walls and discover objects at different heights. If you’re brave enough, venture right into the middle.

1. Experience Room 3 – A Moment to Remember

A door opens, and suddenly there’s a flurry of activity. Now you’ll need your white cane, your ears, and a little courage. What awaits you here will stay with many for a long time.
