What you can expect

  • Join an amazing two-day tour of Tam Coc, Bich Dong and Thung Nham from Hanoi. Admire magnificent landscapes, take many beautiful photos, know more about the daily life of Vietnamese locals and fall in love with this lively country in just two days.

Day 1: Ha Noi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc- Thung Nham

A.M: pick up and depart for Hoa Lu, Binh Binh. It takes you about 2.5 hours to get there from Hanoi. First, we stop at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. This site was chosen as the capital due to its proximity to China and the natural protection afforded by the region’s bizarre landscape.
Visit the temple of Dinh & Le Dynasty, learn about the history of Vietnam and its ancient battles fought.
Then, depart for Tam Coc to have lunch and a short rest.

P.M: Take a small riverboat, rowing along the river to Tam Coc, which is nicknamed as “Dry Halong Bay”. The mixture among the mountain, the river, the rice paddies and the caves with the stalactites flowing down as mysterious marble boasts a breathtaking scenery. We will feel fresh and cool air as we venture deeper into three caves and admire the magnificent beauty of iridescent stalactites.

Return to Tam Coc wharf after and make our wat to the Thung Nham ecological tourist area. Here, take a ride on a small boat into the flooded forest, and immerse in the peaceful and gentle beauty of white reed flowers and rolling limestone hills covered by blue florals along the shore. Soon you will arrive at an islet - an important nesting habitat for many species of waterfowl such as stork, heron.

Have dinner and overnight at the 4-star Thung Nham Resort.

Day 2: Thung Nham ecological tourist area – Hanoi (B)

After breakfast and checking out your hotel, we will visit the thousand year old trees and the unique orchards of the Vietnamese Northern Delta region, before being transferred back to your preferred location in central Hanoi to end the tour.
