Begin with pickup from your hotel in the historic centre of Cusco (a to 5 am) and head towards the city of Pajchanta. First, arrive at Tinki and stop for a while. From Tinki, continue to Pajchanta and enjoy a delicious breakfast. From this site, begin your hike to the beautiful 7 Lakes of Ausangate. Hike for a total of five hours, visiting the lakes of Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Q'omercocha, and Azulcocha. Admire the Ausangate (6,834 m), Mariposa (5,842 m), Jampa (5,500 m), Pucapunta (5,740 m), Caracol (5,625 m), and Tinki (5,300 m) mountains, as well as the entire Qayangate mountain range. See birds, llamas, alpacas, and numerous vizcachas; if you are lucky, you may also see the Andean condor. After completing the circuit, return to Pajchanta to enjoy the hot springs. End the day in the tranquil hot springs of Ausangate, perfect for relaxing the muscles of the body. Return to Cusco after a typical lunch, arriving between 6 and 7 pm.
