Activity itinerary

Embark on an unforgettable El Yunque Rainforest adventure on a small-group guided tour from San Juan, Carolina, Luquillo or Fajardo. The experience begins at your selected location—either by following the guide in your own car from Ralph’s Food Warehouse in Fajardo, or by choosing optional shuttle pickup from San Juan, Carolina, Luquillo or Fajardo for a scenic ride into the rainforest. Upon arrival at El Yunque National Forest, receive a safety briefing and life jacket before starting a guided hike through lush jungle trails. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the rainforest’s history, wildlife, ecosystem, local legends, and fascinating rainforest plants. After about 25 minutes of hiking, reach a hidden natural pool where you can swim, cliff jump, or swing into the water on a rope swing. Continue to a second secluded pool featuring a smooth volcanic rock natural waterslide. Guests who select the San Juan / Carolina transport option will also enjoy a stop at the famous Luquillo Kiosks, known for authentic Puerto Rican food, tropical drinks, and views of Luquillo Beach. After the adventure, hike back and enjoy light snacks before returning.
