Wonder through an Indian garden, a Tudor, walled vegetable garden, sustainable garden, herb garden and old style English Gardens and view the fabulous river from most of the themed gardens.

Stop At: Hobbiton Film Set, 501 Buckland Road Matamata, Hinuera 3472 New Zealand

Experience the real middle earth at the Alexander Sheep farm, we will arrive at the Shires rest driving through the rolling hills of the Matamata farming area, hundreds of sheep can be seen grazing on the farm.
You could enjoy a cup of coffee or ice cream at the Shire Rest cafe as we get your entry tickets, you will then board a green Hobbiton bus that will transport you to the Hobbiton film set. You will be enchanted with the beauty of the land and the mighty Kaimai Ranges towering in the distance. Your experienced guide will take you through the film set giving you the details of the famous locations as seen in Peter Jackson’s Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit films.
The guide will take you through the 12 acre set, past the Hobbit Holes, The Mill and at last into the world famous Green Dragon Inn where you will enjoy a complimentary drink exclusive to Hobbiton Film set.
