What you can expect

Experience Kruger National Park in the most personal way – privately guided, unhurried, and deeply connected to nature.
Your day begins early in the morning when your private guide – Isaac, our lion expert; Mighty, who is passionate about elephants; or one of our nature‑enthusiastic guides – choices you up directly in Hoedspruit or, optionally, at your lodge. As the sun rises over the bush, you enter Kruger National Park through the Orpen Gate in an open safari vehicle. The fresh morning air, the sound of birds, and the first wildlife sightings create a truly magical atmosphere.
Our guides live their passion for nature and wildlife. They love sharing their knowledge, speaking with enthusiasm about the great and small wonders of the bush, and often weaving in personal stories from their childhood and culture. Isaac, for example, fulfilled his lifelong dream with Wild and Free Safaris – today he guides guests with heart, humour, and deep respect for the wilderness.
Together with your guide, you’ll discover elephant herds, graceful giraffes, zebras, and perhaps even lions or leopards. You decide how long to stay at each sighting – without rush, entirely at your own pace. Around midday, enjoy a lovingly prepared lunch at a shaded rest camp before continuing through the park’s diverse landscapes – from open savannas to dense bushveld.
In the afternoon, as the light shimmers across the golden grass, more animals appear once again. Your guide shares fascinating insights into animal behaviour and the park’s delicate ecosystem. After about nine hours filled with unforgettable encounters, you return to Hoedspruit relaxed and inspired – carrying with you the essence of Africa and memories that will last a lifetime.
