Meet your guide at the designated meeting point in Hoi An Ancient Town at your scheduled time. As motorised vehicles are not permitted within the Old Town, the entire experience is conducted on foot.

Upon arrival, your guide will verify your booking, provide each guest with a traditional paper lantern, and escort your group to the nearby river dock.

At the dock, you will board a traditional wooden boat reserved exclusively for your group. Each boat accommodates 1–5 passengers, and you will not share the boat with other guests. Before departure, the local boat rower will help you light your lantern.

During peak hours (18:30–19:30), the riverfront can become crowded. Depending on boat availability, you may need to wait approximately 15–30 minutes before boarding.

The boat ride lasts approximately 10–15 minutes, depending on river traffic and weather conditions. As you cruise along the river, take in the enchanting nighttime views of Hoi An Ancient Town, where colourful lanterns illuminate the streets and their reflections shimmer across the water. This experience is intended for sightseeing and enjoying the atmosphere rather than guided commentary.

Please note that the local boat rowers do not speak English. Your lantern will be released during the cruise at a suitable location, subject to the boat's position and river conditions.

The experience concludes when the boat returns to the dock. This is a short, authentic activity that offers a memorable glimpse of Hoi An by night from the river, rather than a guided tour or an extended river cruise.-
