Overview

Animals see the horses as other animals so you can get much closer to the animals than you would usually. Activity itinerary

It takes about 1 hour to arrive at the location where the horseback safari takes place. The drive there is quite scenic as we will pass by the Magaliesburg Mountain range. We will arrive at the reserve 30 minutes before the activity starts so that you have time to be fitted with a helmet and receive a safety briefing. Then your guide will allocate a horse to you. You can climb the stairs to make mounting the horse easier. Then you will go out into the nature reserve on horseback to look for interesting animals like giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and various antelope and birds. You will be on the horse for about 1 hour. After you return we will say good bye to the horses and leave the reserve. It will take approximately one hour to get back to your pick up point.
