Itinerary
9:30 a.m.: We will pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz and start our journey north through the impressive Callejón de Huaylas, located between the Cordilleras Blanca and Negra, until we reach the Huascarán National Park.
Along the way, you will pass through picturesque Andean villages and enjoy the extraordinary landscapes of this Natural World Heritage Site and World Biosphere Reserve, which will leave you speechless!
We will continue to the Llanganuco ravine and the Chinancocha lagoon. There, we will leave the minibus and begin an hour and a half hike along the María Josefa trail, where we will explore the beautiful quenual forests.
Along the trail, our guide will share the secrets of the high Andean flora and fauna, and you won't be able to resist the temptation to take pictures! We will take a one-hour break for lunch on your own.
With renewed energy, we will visit the Campo Santo de Yungay, a place with a fascinating history that we will discover together. Finally, we will return to the minibus to go back to your hotel in Huaraz, concluding the excursion at approximately 6:30 pm.
