This is a small local family-run cooking class in Hue. Your participation directly supports our local community.
Step away from tourist restaurants and discover how people in Huế really cook at home.

This cooking experience is not just about following recipes — it’s about understanding the soul of Hue cuisine. Join a local host who grew up cooking traditional dishes passed down through generations.
Your journey begins in a small area market where locals shop every day. Unlike busy tourist markets, this hidden spot reveals the real rhythm of Hue life. Walk through colourful stalls filled with fresh herbs, rice noodles, seafood, and tropical vegetables while learning how Vietnamese cooks choose ingredients by smell, colour, and touch.
Return to the local house, where your local chef guides you step by step through preparing 3–4 traditional dishes. This is a hands-on experience, and you will prepare the food yourself.
Between cooking steps, your host will share stories about family meals, imperial cuisine traditions, and how food connects generations in Hue culture.
Finally, gather around the table and enjoy the dishes you created together — just like a Vietnamese family meal.
This experience is designed for travellers who want something authentic, personal, and far beyond a typical cooking class.
