Nestled in the heart of Sulcis-Iglesiente, the Marganai Forest is a true green lung, rich in charm and history. Here, among shady paths and centuries-old woods, you can learn about and relive the mining history that has characterised this part of Sardinia.
During the trek, you will follow the ancient route of a mining railway, discovering natural caves, artificial tunnels and other remains of past activities, now hidden among the rich vegetation.
