Immerse yourself in two essential Japanese traditions in a single, engaging session. First, you will learn the art of shodō (Japanese calligraphy) — mastering basic brush strokes, writing your name or favourite Japanese characters, and creating a personal calligraphy piece to take home.
Next, you will shift to the serene world of the tea ceremony (chanoyu). Under guidance, you will experience the full ritual: grinding matcha by hand using a stone mill, preparing your own bowl of matcha, and savouring it alongside traditional Japanese sweets (wagashi).
