What you can expect

Day 1: Kruger National Park Safari Adventure

Begin with an early breakfast at your lodge or hotel. Depart for Kruger National Park, entering through the Phabeni or Paul Kruger Gate. Embark on a guided sunrise game drive to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and other wildlife.

Stop for brunch at one of the park’s rest camps, like Skukuza or Lower Sabie. Visit the camp shop for souvenirs or relax by the river. Continue with a self-drive or guided safari. Optionally, visit a bird hide or take a short bush walk with a ranger.

Return to your accommodation in the evening. Enjoy a traditional African dinner, trying dishes like bobotie, pap, chakalaka, or braai. Optionally, join a night safari drive to see nocturnal wildlife.

Day 2: Panorama Route & Blyde River Canyon

After breakfast, depart for the Panorama Route. Stop at God’s Window for breathtaking views over the Lowveld. Visit Lisbon Falls and Berlin Falls for photo opportunities.

Explore Bourke’s Luck Potholes, known for their unique rock formations and waterfalls. Have lunch at a local café in Graskop, trying pancakes, a local speciality. Drive to Blyde River Canyon, the world’s third-largest canyon. Visit viewpoints like the Three Rondavels and Lowveld View. Optionally, take a short hike or boat trip on the Blyde Dam.

Return to your accommodation in the evening. Enjoy a dinner featuring local cuisine, sampling dishes like kudu, impala, or vegetarian African dishes.

Day 3: Sudwala Caves, Culture & Cuisine

After breakfast, head to Sudwala Caves to explore the ancient limestone formations and learn about their history. Optionally, visit the Sudwala Dinosaur Park nearby.

Drive to a local cultural village, such as Shangana Cultural Village. Participate in a guided tour to learn about local traditions, crafts, and music. Enjoy a traditional African lunch with local hosts.

Visit a local market for crafts and souvenirs. Optionally, take a short nature walk or visit a nearby waterfall, like Mac Mac Falls. End your adventure with a farewell dinner at a local restaurant or lodge, featuring African drumming and dance if available.
