Begin at the Richmond Castle, a charming coastal spot perfect for scenic photos. Continue to the sacred Kalutara Bodiya Temple, one of Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist landmarks.

Next, relax at Bentota Beach, where you can enjoy the golden sands and refreshing sea breeze. Then, take a peaceful river safari — glide through lush mangroves, watch colourful birds, and discover the calm beauty of Kalutara’s waterways.

Visit a turtle hatchery, where you can learn about sea turtle conservation and even see baby turtles up close. After the tour, if you like, you can stop for some shopping along the beach road before heading back.

Your friendly local tuk tuk driver will share stories and insights about the area, making your day both fun and memorable.
