What you can expect

  • Begin your experience with an introduction to the brewery and its approach to craft beer in Kamakura’s Yukinoshita area. Learn about the four main beer ingredients: malt, hops, yeast, and water.

    Continue with an explanation of the brewing process, including malt crushing, mashing, filtration, and hop boiling. Discover how temperature, fermentation time, and storage affect the beer’s flavour and aroma during fermentation and maturation.

    Finish the brewery tour with a craft beer tasting and a question-and-answer session. Learn how the ingredients and production methods influence the beer’s colour, aroma, bitterness, sweetness, body, and finish.

    Choose between two options. The brewery tour with craft beer tasting lasts approximately 75 minutes. The option with a roast beef set meal lasts approximately 100 minutes and includes a meal served after the brewery tour.
