What you can expect

Marvel at the four-story-tall Great Buddha of Kamakura, a national treasure measuring in at 13.5 metres tall. Originally covered in gold leaf, the statue has weathered earthquakes and typhoons in its 750 years of existence, giving it a copper patina colour.

At Enoshima, indulge in local delicacies or explore souvenir shops on Nakamise-dori, a lively street leading to Enoshima Benzaiten Shrine. The shrine is said to be home to three sister goddesses of the sea, water, good luck, finance, and the arts.

Afterwards, we'll ride the Enoshima Electric Railway, a retro 1-car train that runs along the seaside. While looking out onto the glittering ocean, you may catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji standing tall on the other side of the sea or the famous railway crossing from the anime Slam Dunk.

Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine was built over 800 years ago during the Kamakura Period. Once the thriving home base of Kamakura's samurai warriors, this iconic shrine carries on its legacy through the annual Yabusame (horseback archery) ritual. Admire the tranquil Japanese pond and garden and enjoy the atmosphere of this Shinto shrine.

From Kamakura, we'll head to Asakusa, an essential stop for Tokyo sightseeing. Experience the retro nostalgia of the district and admire the traditional temple architecture of Senso-ji against the backdrop of Tokyo Skytree in the distance.

You can choose to stay in Asakusa or join the group as we head to Shibuya Crossing, where we will disband.
