Overview

  • The Kamenjane waterfall hike runs from Skopje and covers 7 km with 430 m of height difference past 8 waterfalls in the Šar Mountains. The trail climbs through forest above Kamenjane village in the Polog valley, close to Tetovo, and reaches every cascade on the route. A local guide leads the walk, sets the pace and handles transport from Skopje and back. Departures are every Sunday at 09:00 from the meeting point, and the day runs 6 to 7 hours. There is no entry fee at the falls, they are open nature.
