Akitsu is a small port town facing the Seto Inland Sea, once known as the birthplace of Ginjo sake.
This tour invites you to explore the storey of the sea, sake, and the people who shaped this unique place.
Walk through the historic harbour town whose history dates back to ancient times, visit Sakakiyama Hachiman Shrine to offer a prayer to the deity of sake brewing, and explore a traditional brewery guided by Soichiro Tsuka, the 9th-generation master brewer.

14：15～15：00　Visit Sakakiyama Hachiman Shrine, founded in the 6th century and deeply connected to the history of sake brewing in Akitsu. Here you will learn about Miura Senzaburo, the innovator who developed the soft-water brewing method that led to the birth of Ginjo sake. His discovery transformed Japanese sake brewing and helped spread sake culture to regions across Japan with soft water.
