What you can expect

  • Our tour guide will pick you up at the hotel first, followed by a 7-minute karting experience. After that, we will begin our one-day city tour of Shanghai.
We will first visit Jade Buddha Temple. Located on Anyuan Road in Putuo District, it is a renowned Chan Buddhist temple. Named after the two jade Buddha statues imported from Myanmar, it ranks among the three major ancient temples in Shanghai. The temple always draws numerous worshippers, making it an ideal place to pray for blessings and experience serene Buddhist culture.
Next, we will explore Yu Garden Bazaar, the core cultural and tourist area in Shanghai's old town with free admission. Built in the architectural style of the Ming and Qing dynasties, the complex features upturned eaves, intricate brackets, carved beams and painted rafters, adorned with red lanterns, exuding classic ancient charm. It houses time-honored stores, local snacks and traditional folk art crafts. You can taste delicacies such as Nanxiang steamed buns and Ningbo glutinous rice balls, and admire exquisite handicrafts including paper-cutting, embroidery and wood carvings. The Nine-Turn Bridge and Mid-Lake Pavilion are iconic landmarks here. During the Spring Festival Lantern Festival, the whole area is lit up with brilliant lanterns and filled with crowds. Blending traditional street vibes and Shanghai-style culture, this bazaar is a must-visit spot to experience the authentic old Shanghai lifestyle.
Then we head to Nanjing Road, known as “China's No.1 Commercial Street”. Stretching 1,528 metres from the Bund in the east to People's Square in the west, it is a miniature of Shanghai's century-old commercial history.
Our last stop is the Bund. Ancient and modern buildings stand face to face across the Huangpu River, forming the unique skyline of Shanghai. As night falls and lights come on, the illuminated architectures shimmer with reflections on the river, presenting a stunning night view. It is the perfect place to soak in Shanghai's prosperity and profound history.
After tour we will drop you back to your hotel.
