What you can expect

Discover the cultural and historical heritage of Nepal on a guided tour of the Kathmandu Valley. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Temple, and the Baudhanath Stupa.

After being picked up from your hotel, drive to Pashupatinath Temple, located in the eastern part of Kathmandu valley on the bank of the holy Bagmati River. Pashupatinath Temple is one of the sacred temples of Hindus in Nepal devoted to Lord Shiva. Over a million devotees visit this temple every year to worship Shiva during the significant festival of Maha Shivaratri.

Continue to the largest stupa of Nepal, Boudhanath Stupa, which was believed to be found in the chronicles of Newar. Find many monasteries around the main stupa. The whole premises have a strong Tibetan culture influence.

After exploring the stupa, move towards Swayambhunath Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple. The main stupa is located at the top of a hill, and you have to climb the long stair to reach the stupa. The climb will be full of excitement as you will be accompanied by monkeys. The complex includes several shrines and temples. Recently a Tibetan monastery, library, and a museum are also added at the top where you can get to know more about the history of the Swayambhunath.

Then move towards Patan Durbar Square, located in the heart of Lalitpur. Patan Durbar Square represents the Newari architecture that had reached its crest during the reign of Malla kings who were great architects and patrons of the arts and architecture. Some of the major highlights of Patan Durbar Square are Krishna Temple, Patan Museum, Golden Temple and Sundari Chowk, etc.
