We will explore the Marine protected area of Porto Cesareo aboard our kayaks. We will move in the calm and transparent waters of the lagoon and reach the island of rabbits, with its
small beaches with Caribbean colours. Here we will take a short walk to discover the island from a historical and naturalistic point of view and then a stop for swimming, relaxation and
snorkelling.

We will then reach the watchtower of Porto Cesareo, a defensive system dating back to the 16th century and we will coast along the town's seafront and its beautiful golden beaches. If the sea allows it, we will have the opportunity to see an important underwater archaeological site: we will observe fascinating Roman columns, lost by a ship during a
storm and lying on the sandy seabed of Porto Cesareo since the 2nd century AD.
