Embark on our Gap of Dunloe day tour, a journey that offers a comprehensive experience of Killarney's stunning National Park. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to witness iconic sights such as Kate Kearney’s Cottage, the awe-inspiring natural wonder of the Gap of Dunloe, the historic Old Weir Bridge, and the majestic Ross Castle.
Our tour is designed to provide a seamless and delightful experience, encompassing three distinct stages:
Bus Transport: Your journey begins at our office located at the Old Weir Lodge on Muckross Road, Killarney, where you will be provided with comfortable bus transport to Kate Kearney’s Cottage at the beginning of the Gap of Dunloe.
Gap of Dunloe Exploration: Traverse through the world-renowned glacial valley that is the Gap of Dunloe. Upon arrival at Kate Kearney’s Cottage, you have the option to enhance your experience by renting a traditional horse and carriage (additional fee payable directly to the ponyman) or choose the picturesque path of walking through the ‘Gap’.
Boat Transport: Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the National Park as you embark on a guided boat tour with one of our experienced Boat Drivers. Marvel at the enchanting landscapes as you journey through the three lakes and two rivers of the National Park. Our knowledgeable Boat Drivers will regale you with captivating folklore and legends, ensuring an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.
