What you can expect

Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Then, enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside, passing small towns and fruit stalls on your way to the Klias River.

Upon arrival at Klias Basecamp, enjoy a delicious afternoon tea. Then, board a boat and set off on your first river cruise. As you glide along the river, keep an eye out for the proboscis monkeys and other wildlife that call this area home.

After your first cruise, return to the basecamp for a buffet dinner of Malaysian cuisine. Then, board the boat for a second cruise. As you sail along the river, admire the magical ambiance created by the flickering fireflies.
