This tour combining Kruger National Park and Blyde River Canyon offers an unparalleled adventure, blending wildlife and stunning landscapes. Beginning in Kruger National Park, one of Africa's largest game reserves, embark on thrilling safaris to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—along with an array of other wildlife in their natural habitat. After experiencing the rich biodiversity of Kruger, transition to the breathtaking scenery of Blyde River Canyon. This combined tour provides for an unforgettable journey through South Africa's natural wonders.

Day 1 - We depart from Johannesburg at 8:00am and head off to Kruger National Park, a 5 hour journey by road. We take a lunch break along the way (own expense). In Kruger National Park, we check into the hotel. Thereafter you go into the sunset game safari commencing at 3pm. Our safaris are on open 4x4 game drive vehicles.
Overnight at Kruger Adventure Lodge (dinner, bed and breakfast package) or similar

Day 2 - full day safari at Kruger National Park. Our safaris are done in open game vehicles specialised for game viewing with a qualified guide for the day. Although not guaranteed, you will have an excellent chance of seeing all of the big 5.

A stop at one of the rest camps will be made around lunch time allowing you to get lunch (own expense) long the way.

Day 3 – Tour of Blyde River Canyon
A one-day tour of Blyde River Canyon offers a thrilling and scenic adventure.

a) God’s Window - With magnificent views, canyons, rock formations and waterfalls, God's Window is truly an area of breathtaking scenic splendour. Gods Window is so called for the panoramic view of the Lowveld more than 900 m down into lush indigenous forest clad ravine.
b) The Bourke’s Luck Potholes - A tour of Bourke’s Luck Potholes offers a fascinating glimpse into the natural forces that have shaped the landscape of Blyde River Canyon. These remarkable cylindrical rock formations, carved by centuries of swirling water at the confluence of the Treur and Blyde Rivers, create a mesmerising sight.
c) The Three Rondavels - A tour of the Three Rondavels, located in the Blyde River Canyon, provides an unforgettable experience of natural beauty and geological wonder. These three distinctive rock formations, resembling traditional African huts, offer some of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the region.

On day 4 we depart from Kruger National Park after breakfast, head back to Johannesburg. Travel and tour the Mpumalanga Province. See local villages. Meet locals. Arrive back in Johannesburg in the afternoon to conclude the 4 day safari.
