On this full-day tour, you’ll travel in a car, mini van and take the scenic highway and village roads towards the city of Kumarakom, the backwater region in Kerala famous for the lake, lagoons, paddy fields, coconut gardens.
It is serene waterways fringed by palm groves and paddy fields and offers a view of traditional life there.
Travelling 1 hour from Kochi on reaching Kumarakom you will be taken on board a Shikkara boat pre-booked It is a 3 hour cruise in a Shikkara boat along the lagoons, narrow canals, lake, palm fringed islands, and villages of paddy, coconut farmers , fishermen, etc., At the end of the cruise we will drive back to Kochi.
On the way back in case you prefer you will be escorted to a restaurant for lunch in a resort of Kumarakom International Tourist Village.
