Borneo, the home to the headhunters, the ancient tradition of Kazadan-Dusun Warriors of mangayau, beheading the head of the enermies, and hanging them up as trophies. Pangayou, or warrior behaders, will only behead enermies alive, beheading a dead opponent is not honourable and disgraceful. The warrior brings the heads back to the village and hangs them up to protect the community and watch over the village. Heads will also be embedded into both ends of bridges to protect the bridge from tambaig or the sprit of the waters. The bridges that we still use today. Headhunting has been banned in recent history, but it is said that it is still practised by the primitive tribes in the isolated deep jungles.

Borneo indigenous natives were argued to be of Chinese descent, Javanese decent, sometimes bit of Indian or Filipino. But nothing was ever conclusive, they are the original people of Borneo.
