Located in Shilin Yi Autonomous County, approximately 78-90 km (48-56 miles) southeast of Kunming city centre in Yunnan Province, this geological marvel covers an area of about 350-400 square kilometres with elevations ranging from 1,600 to 2,203 metres. Known as the “First Wonder of the World"since the Ming Dynasty, it is the birthplace of the term “stone forest” in global geological vocabulary.
Then visit Jiuxiang cave.
