What you can expect
We extend a warm welcome to Kusadasi, a beautiful seaside resort located on Turkey's Aegean Sea coast. We are delighted to have you with us today and hope that you enjoy the cultural and historical richness that Kusadasi has to offer.
Firstly, we will explore the ancient Greek city of Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary, a stunning location nestled in greenery, guided by our experts. Throughout the day, we'll visit the city's most notable remains, including The Marble Street, The Odeon, Bouleuterion, The Temple of Hadrian, Trajan’s Fountain, The Mosaic Street, The Agora, The Baths, The House, The Great Theatre, Harbour Street, and the famous Celsus Library, the third-largest library of the ancient world.
Our next stop will be the House of the Virgin Mary, where she is believed to have spent her final days, choosing the tranquility of this remote area over a bustling city. Following this, we will visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, located in Ephesus. Today, visitors can see the ruins of the foundations of this magnificent Hellenistic structure, made entirely of marble and adorned with sculptured columns and capitals.
Lastly, we will visit the Basilica of St. John, where he is thought to be buried. Tradition holds that St. John spent his final years in the region around Ephesus. The basilica is situated on the slopes of Ayasoluk Hill.
Additionally, you will be introduced to the local cultural aspects of Ephesus, including traditional handmade carpet and rug weaving in the Teaching Village. You will also have the opportunity to admire many of Ephesus' ceramics.
End of tour we will transfer you Kusadasi port
