Activity Overview:
Escape the daytime crowds and experience Kyoto in a completely different atmosphere on this guided evening e-bike tour. Ride through peaceful streets, scenic riverside cycling paths, and historic areas before visiting two of Kyoto's most iconic landmarks: Tofuku-ji Temple and Fushimi Inari Taisha.

Your first ride takes you along Bukkō-ji Street, one of Kyoto's historic streets in the heart of the city, named after the centuries-old Bukkō-ji Temple. Continue through the charming Kiyamachi District, where you'll cycle beside the picturesque Takase Canal, a historic waterway lined with traditional buildings, restaurants, and willow trees that create one of Kyoto's most beautiful evening settings.

Leaving the city centre behind, enjoy one of Kyoto's most scenic cycling routes as you follow the dedicated cycling path along the Kamo River from Shichijo to Tofukuji, covering approximately 3 km (1.9 miles). The peaceful riverside offers a relaxing escape from the busy streets and is one of the highlights of the tour.

Your first major stop is Tofuku-ji Temple, one of Kyoto's Five Great Zen Temples, renowned for its magnificent Zen architecture, tranquil atmosphere, and beautiful temple grounds.
Please note: For the 5:30 PM time slot, we will only visit the temple grounds and surrounding area, as the temple closes at 4:30 PM.

Next, continue to the world-famous Fushimi Inari Taisha, one of Japan's most iconic shrines. Walk beneath its famous thousands of vermilion torii gates and enjoy a peaceful evening stroll while avoiding the daytime crowds and summer heat. Your guide will introduce the shrine's history, traditions, and cultural significance as you explore some of its most scenic pathways.

Before returning to the meeting point, enjoy a scenic ride around Kyoto Station, passing AEON Mall Kyoto and the iconic Kyoto Tower, beautifully illuminated in the evening and offering a glimpse of Kyoto's modern cityscape.

This 3 hour guided e-bike tour combines Kyoto's rich history, peaceful temples, scenic cycling routes, and unforgettable evening atmosphere.

Important Information:
• Please arrive at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before the tour starts.
• The tour will proceed even in light rain; ponchos will be provided if needed.
• Participants must be comfortable riding an e-bike.
• The minimum age requirement is 8 years old.
• This tour will not hike the entire Fushimi-Inari mountain.
