What you can expect

Discover Kyoto and Nara on a full-day, small-group tour from Kyoto, combining guided walks with scenic travel between cities. Begin in Kyoto with a visit to the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove for a stroll through its towering pathways. Continue to Kinkaku-ji Temple, where the Golden Pavilion reflects over the surrounding pond. Make a stop at the red torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine before travelling onward to Nara. Visit Todai-ji Temple, home to the Great Buddha, and walk through Nara Park, where freely roaming deer can be seen throughout the grounds, before returning to Kyoto.
