This class is operated by Musoshin Ramen, located in the Gion area of Kyoto.
Musoshin Ramen was founded in Kyoto in 2012 and now operates six restaurants in Kyoto and Toronto. Our Toronto location has been nominated for the Michelin Guide for four consecutive years, and we use the same recipe in all of our restaurants.
Our mission is to spread delicious ramen all over the world.
At Musoshin, we are committed to making all of our ramen ingredients in-house.
We make our noodles fresh every morning and let them rest overnight for use the next day.
Our soup is carefully prepared over 12 hours.
Our ramen sauce (tare) and chashu pork are also handmade.
In this workshop, we use the same ingredients as in our restaurant, and you will have the opportunity to cook your own ramen.
This is the only ramen workshop in Kyoto that is directly connected to an actual ramen restaurant.
A ramen bowl and ramen spoon are essential tools for making ramen.
In this class, you will paint your own ramen Spoon or ramen Bowl or ramen Apron.(The ramen apron is yours to take home on the same day.)
which will be fired overnight in a special kiln. (You can pick it up the next day or we can ship it to your next hotel for an additional fee.)
By boiling your own noodles and arranging your ramen yourself, the flavour becomes even deeper, creating a truly special bowl.
Enjoy an authentic experience you can’t find anywhere else at Musoshin Ramen Academy, loved by families from all over the world.
