Enjoy an authentic experience in the heart of Lombardy, in a genuine 1950s house overlooking Lake Maggiore. A place where tradition and conviviality come together to offer you a one-of-a-kind regional Italian cooking class.
When booking, you can choose to meet at either Arona Railway Station or Stresa Railway Station.
From there, for those who have chosen to depart from Arona, a picturesque boat transfer will take us to Angera, on the Lombard side of Lake Maggiore, while for those who have selected Stresa Station, the transfer will be by car along the shores of our lake.
A short walk along the lakefront, at the foot of the imposing Rocca di Angera, will take us to the house where our culinary experience will begin.
In the kitchen, guided by passion and experience, you will prepare two authentic Italian masterpieces: the irresistible spaghetti alla chitarra, hand-cut using the historic “chitarrina” tool that gives the pasta its unique charm, and the world-famous tiramisu, an iconic dessert that wins you over at first taste.
If you have any food allergies, intolerances, or simply different preferences, we can work together to choose alternative dishes when you book. Every detail will be lovingly taken care of to accommodate your dietary requirements, right down to the convivial dinner that will round off the day, filled with laughter, excellent food, and fine wine.
During the experience, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy relaxing moments surrounded by the tranquility of the setting, interacting with the property’s pets and farm animals.
There will also be a tasting of locally made products – cold cuts, cheeses, preserves, and liqueurs – to help you discover the true flavours of the area.
The experience is free for children up to 15 years old, making it the perfect opportunity to share a day of culture, good food, and Italian tradition.
