Enjoy a half-day “introductory” canyoning experience at the Costeplane waterfalls in Lauzet-Ubaye: a fun, gradual descent, perfect for friends or family. On the programme: rappelling, natural slides, and jumps into clear water, all under the supervision of a state-certified professional, with instruction focused on independence and active participation.

At the prearranged meeting point with the instructor, you will receive your equipment (neoprene wetsuit, helmet, harness) in small bags. A roughly 15-minute walk will take you to the start of the canyon. Once there, you will put on your gear and receive a safety briefing before starting your descent.

The descent begins gently with small drops, then gradually increases in intensity until you reach the large 12- and 17-meter waterfalls, which you will rappel down with the instructor’s help. The route continues through a beautiful canyon, characterised by numerous resurgences, until reaching the final pool for the last slides and jumps (which are always optional). After about 2 hours in the canyon, you will return to the parking area to collect your gear and share the excitement of the adventure together.
