Join my mother in our family home in Douz and learn how to prepare traditional Tunisian couscous together. When you arrive, my family will welcome you into our home. You'll meet my mother, who will guide you through the preparation of couscous, one of Tunisia's most loved traditional dishes. You'll learn about the ingredients and spices used in Tunisian cooking and take part in preparing the dish, from getting the vegetables and other ingredients ready to making the sauce and steaming the couscous. This is a hands-on experience, so you won't just watch. You'll cook alongside my mother, ask questions, and discover how couscous is traditionally prepared in a Tunisian family. While the food cooks, you can relax, chat with the family, and enjoy the atmosphere of our home and garden. Once everything is ready, we'll sit down and enjoy the couscous we've prepared together. The experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours and includes the ingredients, cooking class, and meal. Vegetarian and vegan versions are possible if requested in advance.
