What you can expect

Discover the city of Leiden in a unique way with our self-guided citygame, based on a true storey. At the start of the eighty-year war, the Duke of Alva had failed to take the city of Alkmaar, so they tried to conquer Leiden! Led by commander Valdez, the Spaniards laid siege to the city of Leiden. The city of Leiden and its inhabitants were unprepared for this and thus face major food shortages! Will you succeed in freeing Leiden from the Spanish siege within 2 hours?
Escape the city is a fun combination of an escape room and a city walk. Besides tourist highlights, discover the hidden gems of Leiden while you solve assignments and riddles to get closer to solving the mystery.
After purchase, you will receive the login details and instructions to start the game. Choose when you want to play. The app will automatically guide you through the storey. The start is at Rijnsburgerbrug at the Stationsweg and you finish at a central location. The game is self-guided and played by an app.
