From the Cala del Sole marina in Licata, you can board a boat with a 40-horsepower engine that can be operated without a boating licence, ideal for exploring the coast independently with family or friends. After a brief initial explanation about how the boat works, safety regulations, and local navigation rules, you will be able to set sail in complete freedom along the Sicilian coast.

With a duration of about 3.5 hours, you will have time to reach some of the most beautiful coves in the area: Marianello Beach, perfect for swimming and snorkelling among the rocky seabed, Balatazze with its rocks ideal for spearfishing, the wide free beaches of Nicolizia, and the sandy bay of Mollarella, equipped with swimming facilities. You can also stop at Poliscia, with its family-friendly sand and clay, and in the more secluded coves such as Cala del Re, Cala Paradiso, and Rocca San Nicola, where the sea is particularly clear.

Depending on the weather conditions and boat availability, you can also head towards the Punta Bianca Nature Reserve, the Scala dei Turchi, and other stretches of coast that can only be reached by sea. On board, you will find an awning, a sundeck, and a ladder, so you can enjoy your half-day on the boat in complete relaxation.

The boats are approved for a maximum of 6 passengers, and you must be of legal age to operate the boat without a licence. It is a simple and fun experience, designed for those who want to discover the sea of Licata independently, with stops for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying the panorama in complete freedom.
