What you can expect

  • Experience the grandeur and magnificence of London’s royal quarter with a guided walk around its most stunning monuments and buildings followed by an authentic afternoon tea at the Royal Tea Room at Kensington Palace.

In a small group, your history guide will be with you every step of the way as we uncover 1000 years of British History on the walk.

Steeped in national pride and intrigue, allow your curiosity to be awakened as you discover St James’ Palace, Buckingham Palace and procession famed, Mall, before riding a London bus to the breathtaking Royal Albert Hall.

Get to the heart of aristocratic London, exploring the quiet corners and higgledy-piggledy streets of St James’. Learn where Churchill lived and Diana's family had their London home. Discover its active, Tudor palace - favourite of the Royal Family - where the King was proclaimed monarch and Ambassadors are received.

Take in the bear-skin hats of the royal guard at Buckingham Palace, the main royal residence in London, and, on Changing of the Guard mornings (normally, Monday, Wednesday and Friday all year around) witness the inspection of the Old Guard at St James Palace, an essential element of this historic ceremony.

See where the King really lives and learn the true storey of the development of the Royal residences.

Follow in the steps of the monarch, up Constitution Hill, to the home and monument of Britain’s great general and war hero, the Duke of Wellington.

Behave like the British and hop onto an iconic, red, London bus for a short ride to Kensington Gardens to see the Golden Gates where Diana's memory is marked on her birthday. Hear stories from the time of King William in 1694 to the present day. Onwards to the romantic Sunken Garden where the Diana Statue is situated for further photo opportunities.

Ready for refreshment, head for an authentic afternoon tea in the 18th Century Orangery on your private table.
