What you can expect

  • Begin your adventure with a pickup from your accommodation in Longyearbyen. Head to the harbour, receive a safety briefing, get dressed in provided drysuit (suit, boots, mittens) and board an open boat. Set off on a hunt for wildlife of all sorts and be on the lookout for any movement in the water.

    Stop at one of the many glaciers gracing the island and enjoy a short hike on the Arctic tundra with ample wildlife viewing opportunities. Get close to massive ice formations and spot icebergs, birds, whales, and walruses.

    Enjoy a field lunch during the boat trip. Then, head back to Longyearbyen and get dropped off at your accommodation.
