Begin your adventure at Caño Hondo/Sabana de La Mar port. Hike for around 3 hours through the humid forest of Los Haitises National Park. Learn about the medicinal plants of the area, see the broadleaf rainforest, and reach the spring of the Jivales River, which feeds the natural pools of Eco-lodge Caño Hondo.
