Begin with hotel pickup in Luang Prabang around 1:30 PM and travel by minivan to Kuang Si Waterfalls. Enjoy approximately two hours of free time at the falls—ideal for a shorter outing combining swimming, sightseeing, and a sunset on the Mekong.

Extended Visit by Minivan — 8:30 AM Pickup
Leave your hotel around 8:30 AM and travel by minivan to Kuang Si Waterfalls. Arriving in the morning gives you the longest stay of the three options, with free time until the late-afternoon departure. Swim, explore the trails, take photographs, and find a quiet spot to relax, all at your own pace.

Scenic Boat Journey & Extended Visit — 9:30 AM Pickup
Begin with hotel pickup around 9:30 AM and enjoy a scenic boat journey along the Mekong through the countryside outside Luang Prabang. Continue by minivan from the riverside to Kuang Si Waterfalls, arriving around 11:30 AM. Spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the falls at your leisure before the late-afternoon departure.

All options: Rice Farm Visit & Sunset Cruise

In the late afternoon, continue to the Kuang Si Heritage Rice Farm to discover how water flowing from the falls nourishes the terraced rice paddies. Enjoy freshly pressed sugarcane juice and gain a glimpse of the connections between the surrounding forest, water, and local farming life.
