    All museums, with the exception of the Holstentor House and the Grass House, are closed on Mondays, unless the Monday falls on one of the following public holidays: Easter Monday, Labour Day (May 1), Whit Monday, German Unity Day (October 3), or the second day of Christmas (December 26).
