Cusco

We start the tour with the pickup from your hotel located in the historic centre of Cusco between 3 : 40 a.m. and 4 : 00 a.m. Afterwards, you will be transferred by tourist transport to the Ollantaytambo train station, crossing the Sacred Valley of the Incas during the journey.

Ollantaytambo

Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo station, you will board the tourist train to Machupicchu Pueblo, also known as Aguas Calientes. During the trip you can enjoy panoramic views of the Andean landscape and the Vilcanota River canyon.

Aguas Calientes

Upon arrival at Machupicchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes) station, our staff or transfer will be waiting for you at the departure of the station to welcome you and provide a brief explanation about the development of the tour. Then, according to the assigned admission schedule, the transfer to the historic shrine of Machupicchu will be arranged.

The guided tour of the Inca citadel lasts approximately 2.5 hours (maximum 3 hours, according to the regulations of the guide service). During the tour you will know the main sectors of the archaeological site, as well as its history, architecture and scientific and cultural significance. Additional time within the citadel is possible at your own expense, subject to time availability and return train schedule.

Aguas Calientes

After the visit, you will descend again by ecological bus to Machupicchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes). Here you will have free time before boarding the return train, according to the schedule assigned on your ticket.

Ollantaytambo

The tourist train will take you back from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, where you will be welcomed to continue the journey by tourist transport to the city of Cusco.

Cusco

The tour ends at the tourist bus station, where a mobility will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in the historic centre of Cusco. Arrival times may vary depending on train availability, approximately between 11:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. the following day.
