What you can expect

  • Discover Mainz in the evening and learn all about its history and anecdotes on a guided tour, and round off the (work) day with a walking tour. From Roman times to the modern era. From the banks of the Rhine to the Old Town. Enjoy the illuminated city at night and walk in the footsteps of Johannes Gutenberg and Napoleon Bonaparte.
    We meet on the banks of the Rhine in front of the terrace of the Hilton Hotel and walk a short distance along the banks of the Rhine. At the Fischtor, we'll head to Liebfrauenplatz and then to the tall Mainz Cathedral of St. Martin. From there, we will walk past the old St. John's Cathedral to Kirschgarten. This is where the walking tour ends.
