On the park grounds is a 10,000sqm manmade lake (Lake Symphony) with a 43m bridge that cuts across.
Merdeka Square
  • 20m
After had the tremendously delicious, hot & spicy Nasi Lemak Tanglin, it is time to burn the calories with your first stop of Kuala Lumpur City Tour: Merdeka Square. Also called Independence Square, this symbol of Malaysian independence is one of the most picturesque squares in the world. Admire both traditional and modern architectural masterpieces before moving on to the King’s Palace.
National Mosque (Masjid Negara)
  • 20m
Contrast your visit to these glass and steel marvels with the National Mosque (Masjid Negara), located in the heart of the city amid lush green gardens. Jalan Bellamy
  • 30m
After completing your Kuala Lumpur City Tour, it is time for your 2nd stop of Malaysian Street Food journey, Ikan Bakar (Grilled Fish) Jalan Bellamy, located just behind The Royal Museum. Hidden behind Istana Negara along Jalan Bellamy is an array of ikan bakar stalls next to each other forming a medan ikan bakar. Despite its secluded location it gets extremely crowded especially during lunch hour. You can see huge frying pans were used to pan fry (instead of grill/bakar like the name actually implies) a wide array of seafood like fish, prawns, squids and kerangs. The sight of the ikan bakar here is simply delightful. With so many choices, you are sure to have a difficult time to decide which items to take. Just for fish alone there are a few types like ikan keli (catfish), ikan pari (stringray), siakap and ikan terubok.
Thean Hou Temple
  • 20m
Next up is the Chinese Thean Hou Temple. Learn about the synergy of influences such as Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism that converge to form an unforgettable architectural ensemble. Checkout out numerous statues of animals from astrology and impressive statues of the Goddess of Mercy and the Goddess of the Waterfront.
Jalan Thambipillay
  • 30m
We will proceed to Little India for your 3rd stop Malaysia Street Food journey. Mr Chiam’s Pisang Goreng stall is one of the many long lasting roadside eateries around Brickfields. This humble stall only sells 4 items – pisang goreng, kuih bakul (sweet rice cake fritters), sesame balls and curry puff. All items are freshly made and new batches are consistently sold out with new customers flocking over to buy. The fresh bananas are peeled battered on the spot, and fried at the roadside stall. What makes the goreng pisang here stand out from the rest is the use of pisang raja which are firm, soft and incredibly sweet.
